I had to have my hubby walk me around the mall the night of the HSG to get the fluid moving. I can't remember much from the next day...but the pain initially due to the blocked tube was EXCRUTIATING, so I am sure there had to be some residual pain...Call the doc and see what they say...
November 2002: Married wondermous husband. Immediately started TTC.
Much of 2003: OB/GYN insisted that the only reason I couldn't get pregnant was that I was overweight. Her answer? Excercise and "just relax."
2004: OB/GYN concedes that maybe "just relaxing" isn't the answer. Prescribes Clomid, and five uesless Clomid cycles follow.
October 2004: Our foster son, J, becomes a part of our family.
August 2005: Started seeing RE; BW, US, HSG (patent tubes, uterus good, etc.), everything checks out as expected - no MFI, I have anovulatory PCOS. Shocker.
February 2006: IUI #1 failed.
March 2006: IUI #2 failed.
June 2006: IUI #3 failed.
July 2006: IUI #4 (supposedly the "final" one). Thought it failed b/c I started bleeding before my beta was due, but...
August 2006: Hey that failed IUI worked! You're pregnant!
October 9, 2006: Miscarriage at 12 weeks, one day gestation. Subsequent D&C.
January 2007: IUI #5 Fails
February 2007: IUI #6 Expected to fail - ridiculously bad cycle in which everything went wrong. BFP.
March 2007: Crazy Rollercoaster - first US shows 2 gestational sacs (no HBs). 2nd US shows 3 sacs (no HBs). 3rd US shows 1 HB, 2 smaller sacs. 4th ultrasound shows 3 HBs.
September 19, 2007: Triplets born.
October 13, 2007: Triplets released from NICU
September 2008: Triplets turn 1. Definitely time to start TTC again. Yes, I'm certifiable.
November 2008: Consult with RE at The Hatchery. RE has never done eSET, would prefer 2 embryo transfer. Scary. Do prelim. BW, etc. Do HSG (left tube blocked). Stop BFing. Start BCPs for IVF cycle.
December 2008: Met with Perinatologist; received dire warnings - no twin pregnancy allowed for me. eSET is only option at this point.
Jan 2009: Consult with Ye Olde Fertility Clinic. Agree to pursue IVF with eSET only to avoid HOM repeat.
Jan/Feb 2009: IVF#1: 10 retrieved, 9 Fertilized, eSET 6dt, Nothing to freeze, BFN
March 2009: IVF #2 ... Canceled. Ovulated on my own while on Lupron. Stupid body.
April 2009: IVF#2 (Take 2) ... Cancelled due to poor response. Stupid Body.
May/June 2009: IVF#2 (Take 3)... 14 Retrieved, 8 fertilized, once again they looked like crap. Transferred one crappy looking morula on Day 5. Nothing left to freeze. Jury's still out on the beta results. I'm not holding my breath.

I have never had it done, I would call the Dr... it doesn't seem like it should still hurt that much the day after :(

When in doubt, call the doctor. I've never had one, so can't give any more than the standard advice.

Oh, and hope you feel better soon!

Sorry your in so much pain. Do you have drugs to help relieve it?
It took a few days for my pain to go away - make sure to keep your bladder as empty as possible - that helped me.
EEK. I hope you're feeling better by now.
oops, that last comment was from me.
