Fert. Report

In IVF#1, I had 10 eggs retrieved, 9 mature, and 9 fertilized. I transferred 1 and none made it to freeze.

In IVF#2, Take 3, so far:

14 eggs retrieved
12 mature
8 fertilized

Yeah, IVF sucks, but it beats the alternative (no chance at a baby). I would have been thrilled with 8 fertilized. I only had 3 and they are all upstairs sleeping right now. Hopefully the very special one that is going to be your baby is growing perfectly towards a blast. Do you do assisted hatching? I can't remember.

hi Ms. Perky!

Thanks for reading and commenting on my blog!

I just read your story, and I am excited for you and your SET. Glad your cycle was saved by the middle-of-the-night hcg from a fellow infertile and that you have made it here.

Let's home the perfect embryo is in that bunch.. I'll be checking for more news!

Nope, never easy. But these sound like pretty good results so far...

Hoping for a smooth ride this time!

well, I wouldn't call you "fertile" given that the act of undergoing IVF often disqualifies one from fertile status, but I'm super psyched to hear your report. May they keep growing without fragmentation and in a way that results in a great transfer, a healthy and full-term baby, and some frosties to boot (hey, I'm an over achiever and your embryos want to be like their Auntie Barren, right?!)
xoxox and rides if necessary. G-d would want it that way.
